Small 8vo, contemporary calf, spine damaged, fore edge of front cover worn through; contents partly loose, soiled and dampstained with scattered marginal scrawls, couple of leaves torn with text loss, lacks the title and several other leaves from both Bishops' and King James versions (see below). sold as is. unusual hybrid copy, made up at an early date, in which portions missing from a 1618 Norton and Bill edition of the Bishops' New Testament (identified from the colophon) have been supplied from an unidentified early octavo black letter King James edition. The King James sections are Matthew 24:27-Mark 2:22, Mark 10:43-14:47, and John 2:23-Revelation 10:9. Bound with unidentified edition of The Book of Common Prayer, missing the title and a number of other leaves, with some supplied from another edition; and 1637 Company of Stationers edition of the Sternhold/Hopkins metrical Psalms in single-column black letter with letterpress music (A-X8), with title bound before Book of Common Prayer, lacking last 2 leaves.
